Laurel and Josie invited Addison and I to join the previewing of the Derby Parade Floats this morning. She belongs to a mommy's group and always has the down low on cool things to do with kids. This our second time hanging out with the mom's group and the women are so very nice. It's nice to have other mom's to talk too and for Addison to interact with other kids.
We got to go to the fairgrounds and see some of the floats and characters that will be in the parade on Thursday. I didn't know how Addison would react to the clowns, and characters in costumes. She did really well and wasn't afraid at all. She talked to them, hugged them, and even danced with them. We had a great time and really enjoyed all the free goodies they were handing out. Good time with great friends. I love it that Addison has a girlfriend to play with. Thanks for a fun day Laurel looking forward to more fun times!

hey is it the lousiville mommies group. i have joined the group but haven't made it to any outings yet. that would be so cool to run into you at one of the events. they are always having activities that are neat such as touring the krispy kreme. what's not to love about that. that's neat you were able to check out the floats. I was thinking of taking hayden to the parade but forget it's the same day as I do the track and dawn at the downs with friends every year.
