Build-A-Brother ?
Addison likes to play dress up which is very normal for a little girl but, this is taking it a bit far. Poor thing! Addison decided to put her build a bears outfit on Mason. She had a little help from De De. I guess girls just wanna have fun. This will most definitely be Mason's first date blackmail photo. This is probably one of the many times Addison will tourture her little brother. He does look like he was kinda enjoying it which may not be a good thing.

First Family of Four Photo
Believe it or not we have not gotten one family photo of all four of us until vacation. So here it is in all it glory. Its not a perfect picture there are some things I would change but it is a reminder that we aren't perfect. I am so in love with my little family. Each day it gets a bit easier. It took a while to fall into a groove but I'm starting to get the hang of having two children. I have learned to be more patient (still working on this). I have come to realize that I can't keep the house perfect at all times like I used to be able to. I have learned to ask for help (still struggling with this) and to stop being a control freak (still working on this too). Things are not perfect but I'm trying to enjoy life and be thankful for what I have. I have two healthy children, a husband that works so hard for us, that loves me, that loves the kids and bends over backwards to makes us all happy and taken care of. I love my little family of four and I thank God for bringing Kevin into my life and for choosing us to be Addison and Mason's parents.
Build A Bear
On our special day Addison got to build a bear. Her name is Honey Comb and she was created by Addison. Of all the animals she chose Honey Comb. She chose her shirt, and skirt right down to her shoes. Addison got to stuff her, choose her heart, give her a brush, and a bath. She was most excited about dressing her. Honey comb has her very own birth certificate. If she ever gets lost and is taken to any build a bear location she will be returned to Addison. We enjoyed the entire process. I'm glad to have special moments with just Addison where she can feel special and loved by her Mommy and Daddy.
Our Little Model
Vacation
My family knows that if they go to the beach with me the one thing I require is photos on the beach. I love having family photos on the beach. The ocean and sand are such an amazing back drop for pictures. This year Mason got in on the action. He spent most of his time in hiding due to the fact his sweet baby skin can't get sun but he did get to come out of seclusion for the family photos. He didn't seem to mind the sand. Addison enjoyed playing in the sand and making "food" out of sand. She loved the pool but didn't care much for the heat. I can't say I blame her because it was super hot. I purchased her a puddle jumper right before we left and it was a great purchase. She loved it. It helped her float way better then those arm swimmers.
Kevin and I took Addison to the Wharf and we rode the Ferris Wheel with her, which we had done before when she was 18 months, and we took her to build a bear. She built a new little pal named Honey Comb. She Loved picking out the clothes and couldn't wait to pick a heart to put inside. It was a fun experience and was nice to have some one on one time with just Addison.
We ate at a place called Lambert's where they are famous for their throwed rolls. The rolls are huge and freshly baked and they actually throw them at you. Addison really liked that part. They play tricks on you too. The spilt a pretend drink on my mom and squirted fake ketchup on me.
We had a great time cracking jokes and spending time together. It was something our family desperately needed. I'm so glad we went. I'm glad we have sweet memories on the beach with the kids and my parents.
