We find out in one week what this little baby is..To say I'm excited to know if this is a boy or girl is an understatement. I have to know it is making me crazy. I want to start getting nursery ideas together, I want to finalize a name (which is harder then the labor will be , I'm sure) Kevin is awful to choose names with. He doesn't like ANY names and it makes me CRAZY. I think choosing a name should be such a fun part of pregnancy but with Kevin it really isn't much fun at all. I often wonder how we decided on Addison. I have made lists and he laughs at every name I like. He refuses to use any name that a family member has, anyone we know with that name, it is pretty much miserable. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Violet. It was my grandmother's name. I never knew her for she dies when my dad was eleven. My dad doesn't remember much about her so what I know I have learned from my Uncle Darryl, my Dad's older brother. I feel like from as long as I can remember I have been on some sort of quest to soak up as much information as I can about my grandmother. I want to know her so bad. I have one item from her, an old lawyer's bookcase that has been severely damaged by water. My dad wanted me to throw it out but I refused. I'm hoping that I can restore the bookcase and pass it down. I could care less that it is an antique and worth anything, which it isn't due to all the damage but to me it is worth everything. I want it only because it was hers and It is all that I can cling to as a part of her. So if this sweet baby is a girl I would love to name the baby after her but, you know who doesn't like the name. Boy names are hard too. I like Max and Mason, Kevin is alright with Mason , he kind of likes it but, likes Maxwell and not Max. I can't see myself calling a tiny baby Maxwell, seems so formal and grown up. I guess a week will tell us the gender and we can go from there and hopefully choose a name that suits this sweet baby. I think Addison and Violet sound like wonderful sister names. Addison and Mason sound pretty cute too. I'm sure this child won't go unnamed but the process of name it has not been an enjoyable experience, for me anyway. Here is another fun website that lets you test out baby names.
