What's In the Potty?

I left Addison in the bathroom to brush her teeth while I grabbed her Jammies. We are big into brushing teeth around her for fear of cavities. Every night she assures me she is getting the sugar bugs off so she won't have cavities and will have a pretty smile, and the Dentist will be happy. Well apparently tonight the rules changed, instead of brushing her teeth she decided to put her toothbrush in the potty. She brushed and then flushed. She didn't really flush but she did throw the toothbrush in potty. She immediately came in with a grim on her face and a giggle in her voice. I asked "What is so funny?" She said, " I threw my toothbrush in the potty." We walked in the bathroom and sure enough there was her snoopy toothbrush floating in the potty. I explained to her that tomorrow she had to take money out of her piggy bank and had to buy herself a new toothbrush instead of a toy. I explained that I was upset that she had thrown a perfectly fine toothbrush in the potty and it wasn't nice to waste. I fished it out and threw it away. I guess I should be thankful she wasn't dipping it in the potty and putting it back into her mouth. Oh the joys of having a toddler. Never a dull moment. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
