This Saturday Addison had a first. She went to her very first movie with Grammy. Grammy was very excited to take Addison to see here very first movie, The Pooh Movie. We went out Friday night and bought some special snacks to take in Gram's purse. So much more cost effective then paying the high movie theatre prices on cokes, candy, and popcorn.
When Gram had described the movie theatre to Addison, how the light get dim and the screen is huge, Addison said "that sounds really scary Gram." None the less she decided to go.
Saturday morning she came running in our bedroom rearing to go. I dressed her up in a pretty dress. She was so excited she could hardly stand it. she waited patiently for Gram. When Mom arrived she made a b line for the door and they were off.
The movie lasted about an hour. Addison sat quietly glued to the screen the entire time. She really enjoyed herself. Since they show like fifty previews before the movie Addison already asked Gram to take her to see the Lion King in 3d, coming to theaters in September. I hope someday she will let her Mom and Dad take her to the movies but I am happy she has such a wonderful time with Gram.
