So we have been doing this ritual for about as long as I can remember and if I try and skip it Addison is sure to remind me. Whenever I get her out of the tub/sink I have to swaddle her in the towel and pretend she is a new born baby. She always wants me to present her to Daddy Paddy and say"Look at my brand new baby". She eats it up. Then we go to her room and she cries for a bottle and baby food- we pretend to give her a bottle and feed her. I kinda like it because she lets me hold her which since she has been mobile has been pretty much a no go. Even as a tiny baby she has wanted to be big. I definitely miss her snuggling on my chest and falling asleep but love the independence (most of it) that she now has. Everyone was right when they say they grow up quick. I guess we will keep up our bath ritual as long as she wants to. I never mind holding her tight!
