Well yesterday, Addison stayed with my mom and dad while I went to church with Holly. It was bring a friend to church day and she invited me. When I arrived home everyone was so excited to tell me that Addison counted to five in Spanish all by her self. Apparently mom and Addison were playing and she blurted out "uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco." Mom said all of their mouths hit the ground. I knew all that Spanish Dora teaches was going to hit home one day. She knows her colors too and some shapes. She can recite the book "Goodnight Moon" and knows the words to various cheers (mom secretly wants her to be a cheerleader) and can sing "My Favorite Things" from the sound of music. She is like a little sponge these days. The other day she vividly described an episode of Dora. I knew exactly what she was talking about. She told me there was a volcano and it was shaking. I love that she can communicate to us her wants and needs. Each day is an adventure and a gift from God. I love being Addison's mom and I can't wait for Emily and Keith to experience the same with little Avery.
