Witchy Poo

Here is miss Addison sitting on the potty. I reported a few posts ago that she has been merely sitting on the potty. All that changed this morning. I am proud to announce that Addison successfully peed on the potty today. She sat there for quite some time while I made up songs, put on a puppet show with Dora, read books and as soon as I walked away....... I heard a little tinkle tinkle in the pot. I didn't want to make a huge fuss while she was going for fear that she would stop going. So I very quietly said "Oh my gosh are you going pee pee on the potty?" So mocking bird Addison all day says "Oh My Gosh pee pee potty." We called Daddy, Grandma, Poppie, Pa, texted De De and called Aunt Debbie and Uncle Roy all the way in Italy (at Addison request). She was very proud as was everyone we shared the news with. Do I think she is potty trained? No far from it ,but we did get some Dora pull-ups and are going to work on it. I have to be consistent and supportive. Although it is sad and a sign that she is well on her way to toddler hood I can also be proud of the thriving independent little girl I am raising (and the $20+ I will be saving a week on diapers once she is fully trained).
