Water Water Everywhere and some ice cream for dinner

Well, it has been almost two weeks ago but, Audrey, Ty and Erika's little girl turned one. Addison , Kevin and I attended her 1st birthday party. Donna and Rob had the pool open and now it feels like summer is in full swing. It was so nice to see everyone and for the kids to have a chance to be with one another. Addison and Hayden absolutely loved the pool. We could hardly get either of them to come out. Poor Hayden was shivering and had purple lips and still he wanted to stay in the water. Addison is such a daredevil she kept walking to the edge of the pool and jumping into Kevin. Audrey didn't enjoy the pool as much as her two cousins but it was her party and she could cry if she wanted to. I know I'm Corny. She looked to cute and grown up in her birthday dress. She wasn't much on the huge duck cake made especially for her. It was such a cute cake. The food was great and so was the company. Everyone enjoyed themselves. After we left the party we went to De De and Paw's house for a quick visit with Susan and Steve, their kids and their three granddaughters. Let me just say their granddaughters are so beautiful! Addison loved watching the twins play train. After they left Hayden and Addison watered the plants for De De who can never seem to find the time. She always tells me she has a brown thumb- I agree she is no, Fred Wishie.
I guess one good thing about being a grandparent is you can fill your grand kids with junk despite what their parents think and send them home. Addison refused to eat the super De De made for her but she sure did enjoy the ice cream Paw gave her. So that night she had ice cream for dinner. Oh well, you only live once. I remember eating skittles for breakfast once, breakfast of champions. She loved the ice cream in fact she woofed the entire thing down. It was a a fun day and it was great getting to spend so much time with family.
