Addison's newest obsession is "hairplanes" aka to us as airplanes. It is the funniest thing. Every time we see one she says "hairplane" repeatedly and when it flies out of sight she asks for "more please" like I can magically make an airplane appear. Poppie had a wonderful idea- He said to take her to Bowman Field to see airplanes. Jason and Kayla came and met with us to enjoy the Airplanes. At first it was slow going and no planes in sight. We were worried because all day I had been filling Addison's head with visions of airplanes and I had to deliver an airplane one way or another. Eventually, there were a plethora of them and even a Helicopter or two. Addison and Kayla loved pointing and saying bye to the inbound and outbound planes. Kevin and Jason really enjoyed the helicopters flying over head. I had never seen a helicopter so close. Addison was very pleased to say in the least and it was something new and different. I'm sure it won't always be so simple to fill her with joy but, for now Airplanes do the trick!
