So I haven't ever really had a nickname and either has Kevin. I like nicknames and always wished I had one but not Kevin. He doesn't care for nicknames at all. He doesn't like pet names either. It is VERY rare he ever calls me by any terms of endearment. I call him Babe or Daddy mostly. Not like "Oh Big Daddy give me a kiss" (Gross) but, like "Daddy can you get Addison some milk"? Well, Addison has all sorts of nicknames that she calls both Kevin and I. They change about every week. Three weeks ago I was Chompy and Kevin was Smacky. Last year around Father's Day Addison, called Kevin Paddy. She was going through her rhyming phase where she rhymed everything. I thought it was pretty smart to be coming up with rhymes for so many things. Paddy lasted for a while but that was what got the ball rolling on all the silly nicknames. I feel it is partly my fault. I'm actually surprised Addison ever learned her actual name. I made up so many names for her as a baby. Stinky Winky, Stink, Sugie Boogie, Doodle Bug, Dudie, Sunny, Sinny Sun, Sunny Buns, Sunny Funny Honey Bunny, Yeah I know the list goes on and on. Poppy called her Poopie Doo to which she quickly came back with Poppy Doo. So she is Poopie Doo and he is Poppy Doo. I know our family is kinda crazy.
Any how, her quirky personality always keeps us on our toes. You never know what she will come up with. Last week I was called Yantly and Yancey and this week I have been Molly. She is such a goof but, she makes me laugh. She definitely has a mixture of a lot of personalities. Who know what my name will be next week or even tomorrow I guess as long as she calls me something nice I will answer . My favorites were Chompy and Smacky. I think those would make cute grandparent names even though that is a long way off.
