Long Time No Post

Sorry to all the weekly readers. I know you have been extremely disappointed in the lack of posts. Well in our defense, we had my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Roy come all the way from Italy to stay with us for 10 days. We had a blast! We didn't do a lot but just having them here was fun in itself. I shouldn't say we didn't do a lot because we were busy every day we just didn't go out a lot. Addison was so excited that they were here in our house, which is actually their house but we are living in it while they are away, confused yet? She of course, teased Debbie the whole time they were here by not going to her. Typical Addison behavior. She loves people and she teases like she may come to you, but then runs away. Everything we did she wanted to "show Debbie", this included sitting on the potty, brushing teeth, getting dressed, etc. When Debbie and Roy would leave the house for a few hours she would cry for them. So I know she really liked them! She called Roy "Uncle Roys". She also had fun teasing Cousin Alex and RP.
Mom, Debbie, and I went to Northern Kentucky to visit with my Aunt Stephanie and hit up a few jewelry shops. We all got these beautiful pendants with our initials made from our old scrap gold. They turned out so beautiful that I went home and scrounged up more gold and am having a signet ring made. I haven't gotten it back but am excited to see the results. It was such a nice day spent with the girls and kid free. I didn't have to worry about naps, diapers, spills, Dora, or any kid stuff for the whole day. Of course, I missed my little princess but she was with De De, Pa, and Hayden so I knew she was having a blast!
We went out to eat a few timewhich is few and far between these days but it was very enjoyable and Addison discovered the wonderful world of cherries. She now really loves cherries.
We went to Max and Erma's with my cousins Haley, Aubrey, Alex, my Aunt Stephanie, and Aunt Debbie. Stephanie's kids love miss Addison. They are so sweet to her. After we ate they made an ice sundae for Addison. She loved it and was such a mess!
While they were here Aunt Debbie and Alex made a wonderful dinner for everyone. They bought watermelon and Addison devoured it. She asks for watermelon everyday. She can't get enough of it. I have to say she comes by it natural because it is my most favorite fruit!
Kevin, Addison, and I really enjoyed having company every night, There was never a dull moment around here and it was so nice to wake up every morning and talk to Debbie and Roy over coffee. They love Italy and have a beautiful home there in the mountains of Calci. They live in a 100 year old olive oil factory. They still make the olive oil there now. There are a bunch of villas on the property that they rent out to travelers. Debbie and Roy have their own swimming pool. The factory has obviously been made over into a house that has six bedrooms and five baths. It sounds amazing but I would hate to clean that.
Thanks for such a great time Deb and Roy. We are going to start saving for our trip to Italy. Addison wanted me to tell you Chow Bella! We love and miss you so much.
