A Bucket of Fun!

This Saturday was sooooo hot. Kevin was playing in a dodge ball tournament. Yeah I know, reminds me of grade school too! Well being that Daddy was away and it was so hot, I wanted to do something fun and cool. Hillary had given Addison a Dora and Boots Monkey squirter so this was a perfect time to splash around and make a watery mess. My Aunt had a planter bucket in the garage and I thought it would be just big enough to use. So I got Addison all suited up, applied sun screen, got a towel and a couple of Popsicles and we headed out to play in the water. I filled the bucket with nice cold water and threw in Dora and Boots. The concrete was so hot that I dipped my toes in the water to cool them off. Addison wanted to do the same. Next thing I know, she sat down in the bucket. I never in my wildest dreams thought Addison would actually get into the bucket. We giggled and giggled. There she sat in the bucket eating her yellow Popsicle. She played and played for an hour. I took a few hundred pictures of her playing. I couldn't resist. Funny thing is I have a similar photo of my mom and dad as toddlers doing the same thing. How cute is the one with her feet sticking out. She looks like a giant in the one with her legs hanging out. Funny this is, she is on the short side according to the Doctor's charts. We always have so much fun together.
