And then there were FOUR

Welcome Baby Mason Dennis Kuhn! I'm about two and some change weeks late posting this but, I have a newborn and a three year old. My life has been a bit hectic for the last two weeks as I remember what it is like to have a newborn. The sleepless nights, the endless feedings, diaper changing, spitting up, burping. All these little things were but a memory. Funny this time I'm less uptight, less irritable, less tired, and just keep repeating to myself; cherish this- he is only this small for a blink and then he will be a a self sufficient three and a half year old like his big sis.
Addison has been so wonderful to her brother. Her attitude and behavior towards Kevin and I and others if very different then how she acts towards Mason. I will take it. I would rather her act out towards us then towards him. She loves to hold him, give him his pacifier, share toys, and she is an awesome hair washer. She has helped me with every one of Mason's baths. She wets is head gently and gently washes his tiny head. I love to how loving she is towards him.
Mason is adjusting to life outside of my belly quite nicely. I find myself just oozing with love for him. I just feel so blessed to have both my children. I couldn't ask for more. I'm cherishing each moment and trying to do my very best as a mother of two. There are time when I have love my temper but I remind myself that I'm only one person and can only do so much.
Having my moms help the first week was AMAZING. She cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for us. She kept Addison busy while Mason and I were getting to know each other. Week two was equally as good with Kevin being home- although no one takes care of you like your Mom does. Doing it all on my own will be hard at first but eventually I will get in a routine, so everyone says, and life will continue on as it did before just with a lot more to do.
