I have been so unbelievably excited about this since I found it on the Internet. Chick-fil-a had a Daddy Daughter Date Night this evening. The cost was $15- for dinner, 1 8x10 photo from the Picture People, each little girl was to get a "surprise" gift, a flower, a scavenger hunt through the mall, dessert, and lots of coupons and discounts at certain stores in the mall. With Kevin working SO much lately I thought what a perfect opportunity for some one on one time. All weekend, yesterday and today we talked about Addison and Daddy's special date night and how Mommy couldn't come because it was just for she and daddy. Addison couldn't wait to go on her special date with her Daddy. I'm not going to tell the story I will have Kevin explain the date in his words. I wasn't there so I could never recreate the story the way it happened. I want Addison to be able to read the story of her and her Daddy's very first date in her Daddy's words. Maybe it doesn't mean much now but, I know Addison will really appreciate the fact that Kevin took the time to be with her, just her, for an evening of special bonding time. More to come!
